Four Pillars of Family Care

A Whole Well-Being Approach

Our holistic strategy, rooted in the Whole Well-Being Approach’s Four Pillars of Family Care, not only meets immediate needs through food distribution and emergency housing but also fosters long-term stability through workforce training and access to vital services such as healthcare and other essential resources.

After addressing a household’s immediate food needs, Feeding GA Families offers tailored support that may include housing assistance, workforce and youth development, and access to essential resources. This comprehensive approach is designed to enhance overall well-being, strengthen self-sufficiency, and help individuals and families build more stable futures.

01

Food Security

We provide access to nutritious food, fresh produce, prepared meals, and specialized food options for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

Our programs prioritize healthy eating, dietary inclusion, and dignity, with vegan, plant-based, allergy-friendly, and health-conscious options available when resources allow.

02

Housing Assistance

We help individuals and families facing housing instability access temporary housing, long-term housing resources, rent and mortgage assistance, utility support, and other stability resources.

Our goal is to prevent homelessness, support housing stability, and connect families with resources that help them remain safely housed.

03

Workforce & Youth Development

We provide individuals and families with career readiness, educational support, workforce training, and youth development opportunities that build skills, confidence, and pathways toward greater self-sufficiency.

Through community partnerships and hands-on learning, we connect people to resources that support employment, education, entrepreneurship, and long-term economic mobility.

04

Access to Vital Resources

We provide individuals and families with essential resources that support everyday needs and overall well-being, including hygiene and household supplies, clothing, baby and pet supplies, and access to health resources.

Our programs help fill the gaps beyond food and housing, ensuring families have access to the practical resources they need to live, thrive, and move forward.

Our growth

Founded in 2010. Annual reach grew from 20,000 people in 2017 to 419,988 in 2023.

That growth reflects an expanding network of food pantries, outreach, delivery programs, partners, donors, and volunteers—not walk-in services at the administrative warehouse.
