OBJECTIVE: To bring nourishment and resources to individuals and families through a series of mobile distributions and holiday events.

HEALTHY EATING INITIATIVE: Bringing access to fresh produce and plant-based foods to all households.

- Redirect surplus retail food from landfills to people in need.

- Inclusion of fresh fruits and vegetables in everyday meals.

Mobile food distribution event taking place at different locations throughout South Fulton County.

Registration ONSITE is required.

Item limits are enforced.

XMAS IN JULY: Soul of South Fulton (Home Items + BTS)

VFW POST 6449, 1669 PARK RD, FAIRBURN, GA 30213 @ DUNCAN PARK

Super store giveaway that included food, and may include household items, clothes, toys, small electronics/appliances, school supplies, and more.

Registration ONSITE is required.

Item limits are enforced. There is a separate children's shopping area.

Must be present to receive.

ALL ITEMS ARE IN "AS-IS" CONDITION: May be new or previously used or in working or non-working condition.

THANKSGIVING UNGALA

Each year we host a Thanksgiving Gala.

The gala includes dinner and a silent auction to raise additional funding for FGF programs.

WHAT IS OFFERED CHANGES EACH YEAR.

RSVP is encouraged for this event.

Meal Cost: $25 per person

THANKSGIVING MEAL EVENT

Each year we host a Thanksgiving Meal Event. The event includes a food box with Thanksgiving themed (if possible) foods.

EACH EVENT IS DIFFERENT. WHAT IS OFFERED CHANGES EACH YEAR BASED ON DONATIONS.

NO registration is required for this event.

MUST BE PRESENT TO RECEIVE A THANKSGIVING FOOD BOX.

Pre-cooked Thanksgiving Meals will be made available to extended stay patrons, seniors, and the homebound.

XMAS GIFT EVENT: Feeding GA Families

Each year we host a Christmas Gift/Toy Give-A-Way. Gifts/Toy quantities are limited.

-- All children ages 0-18 can be pre-registered by a parent/guardian.

We cannot guarantee that all pre-registered children will receive a gift/toy.

-- We will send Wish Lists to families to up to 300 children based on donations received.

-- For those we can match with gifts, a confirmation email will be sent to pick up their gift(s). CONFIRMATIONS ARE SENT THE WEEK OF THE EVENT DATE.

The event is open to the public to take photos with Santa + Friends, and receive food assistance, clothing + coats, and kids gift bags. MUST BE PRESENT.
