EMERGENCY HOUSING:  Temporary Placement

ONLINE APPLICATION REQUIRED.

Feeding GA Families is committed to addressing the urgent needs of our community through our Temporary Housing Assistance Program, particularly tailored for homeless individuals or families currently without a permanent residence or those sheltering in hotels.

 

This program focuses on providing immediate relief by offering payments directly to hotels, ensuring that the most vulnerable among us have a safe place to stay.

 

By centralizing our efforts on securing temporary lodging, we aim to alleviate the strain of homelessness and provide a bridge towards more stable, long-term housing solutions.

 

Our initiative is a testament to our belief in the dignity of every person and our dedication to ensuring safety and shelter for everyone in our community, highlighting our resolve to support and uplift those in the direst need of assistance.

Feeding GA Families offers a Rent and Mortgage Assistance Program for FULTON COUNTY residents, aimed at supporting individuals and families struggling to meet their housing payments.

 

This comprehensive initiative provides crucial assistance through sharing contact information for organizations offering aid, as well as offering direct temporary housing assistance when funding is available.

 

Please note that eligibility for direct assistance is subject to additional restrictions imposed by local government, which may include criteria based on age and/or veteran status.

 

Our program is dedicated to preventing homelessness and ensuring housing stability, thereby nurturing the well-being of our community members.

 

By assisting with these essential expenses, we are committed to helping our neighbors maintain their homes and fostering a supportive environment for all.

By alleviating some of these financial burdens, we help ensure that residents can continue to live comfortably and without interruption in their own homes, reinforcing our commitment to fostering a supportive and resilient community.

Feeding GA Families is dedicated to supporting the well-being of our senior community through the City of South Fulton Trash Service Assistance program.

 

This vital initiative is designed to aid residents of City of South Fulton who are 60 years of age or older in paying off past due trash service bills, thereby preventing tax liens from being placed on their properties.

 

By assisting in these payments, our program aligns with our broader goal of helping seniors remain in their own homes, ensuring they can live in a safe and comfortable environment without the added stress of outstanding utility bills.

 

This effort underscores our commitment to nurturing a supportive network for our elderly population, affirming their dignity and promoting stability within our community.

Operation DOYEN

ONLINE APPLICATION REQUIRED.

Operation DOYEN offers comprehensive assistance to support the well-being of veterans and their families across the United States, with a particular focus on disabled veterans.

 

Our program operates on several key pillars: nationwide food assistance, statewide housing support (including rent, mortgage, and utility bill assistance), and access to essential services such as hygiene products and medical supplies.

 

Our holistic approach is designed to not only meet immediate needs but also to foster long-term stability and self-reliance among the veterans we serve.

 

Program Operations:
- Nationwide Food Assistance: We provide direct to home nutritious food to veterans and their families. Our mobile food distribution units are crucial in reaching those in underserved areas. Additionally, we offer nutrition workshops and meal planning assistance to promote healthy eating habits.

- Statewide Housing Support: To prevent homelessness and the loss of utilities, Operation DOYEN provides financial assistance for rent, mortgage payments, and utility bills. We work closely with housing authorities, utility companies,
and landlords to ensure that veterans can maintain their housing stability.
- Access to Vital Services: Recognizing the varied needs of disabled veterans, we provide not just food and housing support but also facilitate access to essential hygiene products and medical supplies. This includes partnerships with healthcare providers and organizations specializing in support for disabled individuals.
